RF IS FL wireless inductive sensors

Precision and efficiency for industrial applications

Sometimes the smallest components can make the biggest difference. A sensor with intelligent signal processing which reliably detects the presence – or absence – of a workpiece. Which adapts to dynamic industrial environments without you having to make any adjustments.

We have now developed a new generation of our RF IS FL wireless inductive sensors for just this reason.

Your benefits:

Compact designs for flexible integration

RF IS FL sensors are available in diameters M8, M12, M18 and M30, and are suitable for both flush and non-flush mounting. This makes them ideal for many different applications in machine and plant engineering, as well as automation technology.

Optimised energy efficiency

Power consumption is significantly reduced, thanks to highly developed electronics and wireless technology.
Up to 80% less energy means longer battery lifetimes for the universal radio modules, which can be connected to up to four sensors.

Digital autocalibration for dynamic adaptation

The sensors have intelligent autocalibration, automatically adapting the switching point to the environment in question.

Technical advantages:

  • Precise detection with flush and non-flush mounting
  • Compensates for ambient changes, such as contamination
  • Reliable switching function for relevant objects only

Many potential applications

Thanks to digital autocalibration and reduced power consumption, the RF IS FL wireless inductive sensors open up entirely new application fields – ideal for machine and plant engineering, as well as industrial production.

Typical application fields:

  • Tool and mould construction: detection of workpiece occupancy
  • Assembly and handling technology: position monitoring and detection of metal parts
  • Robotics and handling systems: detection of components in grippers and automated processes

Mounting variations and switching points – how do they interact in practice?

This video includes all you need to know about the installation and switching behaviour of our RF IS FL wireless inductive sensors. We present different mounting variations and explain how the sensors work reliably thanks to automated switching point adaptation – regardless of whether mounting is protruding, flush or recessed.

In the test set-up you can see a steute RF IS M30 inductive sensor which is connected remotely to a steute 4S receiver via a universal wireless transmitter. The sensor signal is transmitted reliably, and mounting is flexible.

Why using these sensors makes sense

  • RF IS FL wireless inductive sensors provide users with a solution which is flexible, energy-efficient and reliable – perfect for complex applications in industrial automation.
